Uncover secrets and use new psychic powers in this latest installment of a beloved franchise. No release date has been given but it’s slated to come out sometime in 2025!
The Nintendo Direct also highlighted the upcoming Pokemon Legends Z-A. I already discussed the premise at length when I covered Pokemon Presents back in February so I won’t repeat it here. However the Direct does show off the new Z-A Royale, where trainers battle each other at night in order to climb up the ranks from Z to A. No release date has been given but Legends Z-A is slated to release in late 2025.
The last thing to mention is that Nintendo now has its own news app called Nintendo Today! Get the latest news right away and stay on top of what’s happening in Nintendo land. It’s already being put to use as a release date for the upcoming The Legend of Zelda movie was posted on it.
Finally, an update regarding digital games on the Nintendo Switch family of systems. Digital Switch games will be treated as digital “game cards” that can be slotted in and out when players want to play them. These digital game cards will also be transferable between systems as if they were the physical ones. It’s an interesting new feature and one that will be coming with an update in April.
That's all for this weeks Nintendo Direct! Plenty of games were shown off, including some I didn’t mention here. What were some of the highlights for you? What new Nintendo stuff are you looking forward to? Let us know in the comments and thank you for reading!
