Battletoads has funky amphibian characters, weird robots, and various others in a unusual but nevertheless impressive cast. the game itself is challenging and its best that you try to time your attacks, though button-mashing tends to help at times as well. But on some levels, it isn't about mashing, but timing jumps and other moves to progress through a level. All in all, it is a great game, that deserved more than what it got back then, but technological restraints hindered it.

I completed Battle Toads in Battle Maniacs. The difficulty in this game, is friggin insane. A word of advice, DO NOT PLAY IF YOU HAVE HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE!

Graphics- 7/10 Crisp and clean though a little choppy

Sound- 10/10 Some of the best music by fr on the SNES!

Difficulty- 9001/10 Don't een try without years of practice

How does it hold up? Well it's a classic beat'um up game, but when surrounded by games like halo and cod, it's good to try an old favorite. Just be prepared to die. Again. And again. And again. And again.......
