GAMING FUREVER TERMS OF SERVICE

By creating a Gaming Furever account you agree to abide by the policies of the Terms of Service (TOS) and Acceptable Upload Policy (AUP). We reserve the right to change our policies at any time, without prior notice, for any reason. Continued usage of the site after modification of site policies constitutes your acceptance and agreement with any and all changes.

When using the site, you agree that you will take full responsibility for any and all actions while you are on the site, and will behave in a respectful manner to fellow users and site staff. If you have visited Gaming Furever by accident, or disagree with the site’s policies, you agree to willingly cease use of the site and to take no further action. Users under the age of thirteen (13) are not permitted to use the site. Gaming Furever and its staff are not responsible for and do not endorse comments, journals, forum posts or content uploaded by its users.

Registration

By registering an account, you agree that all information provided is truthful and accurate. We reserve the right to terminate any account created with false information. In addition, you agree to keep your email address accurate and up-to-date (as is necessary to contact you or provide password resets).

Spamming & Abuse

Do not abuse the group creation, photo album, community, or any other features. Keep posting to these pages at a reasonable level of activity. Gaming Furever reserves the right to issue a warning or suspension of account for excessive spamming of these services.

Security

We at Gaming Furever value your privacy, and are committed to safeguarding your personal information to the best of our ability. We will never use, share or distribute personally identifiable information (birth date, e-mail address, ISP/IP or other aliases) except when such actions are necessary to:

Comply with law enforcement;
Protect or defend our legal rights, property or interests;
Investigate reports of illegal activities, fraud, or situations involving potential risk or endangerment to the physical safety of our users.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password, and accept all responsibility for any damages or loss resulting from willful negligence on your account security. Gaming Furever does not engage in active data collection of its users.

Enforcement of Terms

Gaming Furever will investigate any claims before action is taken. Members are expected to read warnings and follow instructions if given them by the staff if they have potentially broken the terms of Gaming Furever. Gaming Furever will only enforce its policies against actions made within the site’s domain.

We reserve the right to take action against users found in violation of the TOS or AUP. Depending on the severity of the action, appropriate action may be taken. This includes (but is not limited to) deletion of content submissions, temporary suspensions, or a permanent banning of your account for repeat offenses.

Site Rights

Gaming Furever staff reserves the right to:

Remove content not in accordance with site policy;
Modify submissions (editing will be limited to: group titles, discussions, ratings, comments, titles, or descriptions not in line with site policy)
Monitor private data or user communication to investigate potential illegal activity by state, federal or international law; to protect the interests of the site or to prevent threats, spam or harassment.

Account Policies

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate ant account without notice. Attempts to circumvent temporary suspensions or otherwise evade admin actions will result in permanent banning and the closure of all accounts owned by the user. Further, you agree to not hold us liable for loss of data/information or any financial complications from site termination.

Account Types Not Allowed:

We do not permit users to create multiple accounts with the same identity.
Group accounts are not allowed, as group creation is a feature of the site. Please use this feature to organize groups and recruit group members.
Accounts impersonating celebrities or other members of the community on GF are prohibited.

Site Availability

Gaming Furever is not responsible for losses attributed to scheduled downtime, unforeseen outages or any site error that causes work to be lost.

ACCEPTABLE UPLOAD POLICY

Gaming Furever primarily serves as a community and news site, but the content that is uploaded and posted to the site by users should abide by this policy. You agree to this policy and the Terms of Service when you register for the site.

All content uploaded through the community onto the site must follow these rules:

Ownership

Photos and art you upload must be made by or for you. You must give credit to the original author if you are not the creator in the description of the art.

Mature Works

Sexually explicit or pornographic content of any kind (photos, videos, art, etc.) is not allowed to be submitted on Gaming Furever.

Art that includes any of the following is not allowed:

Graphic nudity
Excessive violence or gore. No exposed organs.
Depictions of bodily functions
Ideologically sensitive material
Fetish content
Buttocks and breasts without nipples are the only allowed nudity.

NOTE: Admins have the final say on what is and is not considered mature and can remove an art piece without notice.

Photographs, Videos & Screenshots

Photographs must have been taken by you, or be of something made for you. If the photo was not taken by you, the original photographer must be referenced in the description or title.

Photograph Policies:

Collection images (“Things I own…”) are permitted. This includes images of commercial items such as DVDs, games, toys, cars, computers, plush/inflatable animals or objects, posters, etc.
Images of fur cons and fursuits are permitted if the photo was taken by the user, or of the user’s fursuit or self at a con.
Gaming Furever prohibits mature photography. Mature photography includes images containing graphic nudity, improperly clothed models (underwear, diapers), bodily fluids and waste, sex toys, sexually modified fursuits, gore, blood and death.
Images containing or alluding to illegal activity (e.g. vandalism, drugs and related paraphernalia) are prohibited.
Images of minors under the age of 13 may not be uploaded unless A) the minor is part of a group taken in a public location, or B) the image is posted by the subject’s parent or guardian.
Users 18 years or older are considered their own guardian and may post photographs of themselves as minors.
Taxidermy is not permitted.

Video Policies:

The same policies that apply to photographs apply to video, however, videos do not have to be made by or for you.

Screenshot Policies:

Users may post screenshots from video games, desktop screenshots (that fit into the above rules) and backgrounds for art.
Users may not post stills from movies, animations, TV shows, etc. that the user does not own the copyright to.

Flooding:

Gaming Furever does not permit flooding (spamming) of submissions to the site. Unless otherwise stated elsewhere in the AUP, flooding is:

When three (3) or more variations of the same image or focal point (character, object) are uploaded, and
When twelve (12) or more submissions are uploaded by a user within a two (2) hour period.

Quality:

We do not permit images which are: out-of-focus, grainy, blurry, skewed, washed out, poorly lit or otherwise hard to see. Quality exceptions are made on a case-by-case basis wherein certain filming effects are deemed to be used with artistic merit.
