What is Gaming Furever?

Gaming Furever is the SOURCE for all you need to know about video games featuring anthropomorphic animal characters in any shape, form, or fashion. It also serves as a community for gamers who are interested in these types of games, and/or who consider themselves "furries."

What are these "furries?"

From Wikipedia's entry on the Furry Fandom: "Furry fandom (also known as furrydom, fur fandom or furdom) refers to the fandom for fictional anthropomorphic animal characters with human personalities and characteristics. Examples of anthropomorphic attributes include exhibiting human intelligence and facial expressions, the ability to speak, walk on two legs, and wear clothes. Furry fandom is also used to refer to the community of people who gather on the Internet and at conventions."

I already joined a bunch of other sites. What makes this one special?

We know we're not alone in this big wide web of furry communities and websites. Yes, we have many of the same features those other guys have. What Gaming Furever has that is special is a focus on -gaming- that is never far away. Our game database features all the anthropomorphic character including games that we can find in it, and we believe it is something that separates us from the crowd. Also, our staff are down to earth and never afraid to interact with the community. We know you'll have a good time here, no matter your age. We want this site to be a place you can find other gamers to play with, plan events, and have a good time. If you are looking for those things, then this will be a special place for you!

  Art that includes any of the following is '''not''' allowed:

  • Graphic nudity
    • Buttocks and breasts without nipples are the only allowed nudity.
  • Excessive violence/gore. No exposed organs.
  • Ideologically sensitive

  Photograph Policies:

  • Collection images ("Things I own...") are permitted. This includes images of commercial items such as DVDs, games, toys, cars, computers, plush/inflatable animals or objects, posters, etc.
  • Mature Content - GF prohibits mature photography. Mature photography includes images containing graphic nudity, improperly clothed models (underwear, diapers), bodily fluids and waste, adult sex toys, sexually modified fursuits, gore, blood or death.
  • Illegal Activity - Images containing or alluding to illegal activity (e.g. vandalism, drugs and related paraphernalia) are prohibited.
  • Fur Cons & Fursuits - Allowed if photo was taken by the user, or of the user's fursuit or self at a con.
  • Minors - Images of minors under the age of 13 may not be uploaded unless A) the minor is part of a group taken in a public location, or B) the image is posted by the subject's parent/guardian. Users 18 years or older are considered their own guardian for the sake of posting photographs of themselves as minors.
  • Taxidermy - Taxidermy is permitted as long as respect is shown to the creatures involved. There may be no gore, signs of pain or trauma.

  The same policies that apply to photographs apply to video, except that videos do not have to be by you or for you.

  ==Flooding==
  GF does not permit flooding (spamming) of submissions to the site. Unless other wise stated elsewhere in the AUP, flooding is considered when:

  When three (3) or more variations of the same image or focus point (character, object) are uploaded.
  When twelve (12) or more submissions are uploaded by a user within a two (2) hour period.

  ==Quality==
  We do not permit images which are: out-of-focus, grainy, blurry, skewed, washed out, poorly lit or otherwise hard to see. Quality exceptions are made on case-by-case basis wherein certain filming effects are deemed to be used with artistic merit.

• Terms of Service

  By creating a Gaming Furever account you agree to abide by the policies of the Terms of Service (TOS) and Acceptable Upload Policy (AUP). We reserve the right to change our polices at any time, without prior notice, for any reason. Continued usage of the site after modification of site policies constitutes your acceptance and agreement with any and all changes.

  While using the site, you agree that you take full responsibility for any and all actions while you are on the site, and will behave in a respectful manner to fellow users and site staff.

  If you have visited Gaming Furever by accident, or disagree with the site’s policies, you agree to willingly cease use of the site, and to take no further action.

  Gaming Furever and its staff are not responsible for and do not endorse comments, journals, forum posts or content uploaded by its users.

  ==Registration==

  By registering an account you agree that all information provided is truthful and accurate. We reserve the right to close any account created with false information. In addition, you agree to keep keep your e-mail address accurate and up-to-date (as is necessary to contact you or provide password resets).

  ==Spamming/Abuse==

  Do not abuse the group creation, photo album, message board, UBlog, or any other features. Keep posting to these pages at a reasonable level of activity. Gaming Furever reserves the right to issue a warning or suspension of account for excessive spamming of these services.

  ==Security==

  We at Gaming Furever value your privacy, and we are committed to safeguarding your personal information to the best of our ability. We will never use, share or distribute personally identifiable information (birth date, e-mail address, ISP/IP or other aliases) except when such actions are necessary to:

  • to comply with law enforcement;
  • to protect or defend our legal rights, property or interests;
  • to investigate reports of illegal activities, fraud or situations involving potential risk or endangerment to the physical safety of our users.
  • You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password, and accept all responsibility for any damages or loss resulting from willful negligence on your account security.

  Gaming Furever does not engage in active data collection of its users. Your personal information will not be resold or distributed.

  ==Enforcement of Terms==

  Gaming Furever will investigate any claims before action is taken. Members are expected to read warnings and follow instructions if given them by the staff if they have potentially broken the terms of Gaming Furever. Gaming Furever will only enforce its policies against actions made within the site's domain.

  We reserve the right to take action against users found in violation of the Terms of Service or Acceptable Upload Policy. Depending on the severity of the action, appropriate action may be taken. This includes deletion of content submissions, temporary suspensions, or a permanent banning of your account for repeat offenses.

  ==Site Rights==

  Gaming Furever staff reserves the right:

  • to remove content not in accordance with site policy;
  • to modify submissions (editing will be limited to: group titles, discussions, ratings, comments or titles not in line with site policy);
  • to monitor private data or user communication to investigate potential illegal activity by state, Federal or international law, protect the interests of the site or to prevent threats, spam or harassment.

  ==Account Creation Policies==

  We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account without notice. Attempts to circumvent temporary suspensions or otherwise evade admin actions will result in permanent banning and the closure of all accounts owned by the user. Further, you agree to not hold us liable for loss of data/information or any financial complications resulting from site termination.

  Secondary Accounts - We do not permit users to create multiple accounts with the same identity.

  Group Accounts - Group accounts are not allowed, since group creation is a feature of the site. Please use this feature to organize groups and recruit group members.

  Impersonation Accounts - Accounts impersonating celebrities or other members of the community on GF are prohibited.

  ==Site Availability==

  GF is not responsible for losses attributed to scheduled downtime, unforeseen outages or any site error that causes work to be lost.
